Whatโ€™s Next for ClickyWalls?

Now that the ClickyWalls core set is out in the world, Iโ€™m shifting focus to what comes next.

At the moment, Iโ€™m working my way through a growing list of ideas โ€” some small, some ambitious, all designed to expand the ClickyWalls system in useful, modular ways. I wanted to share whatโ€™s currently on that list, partly to give you an idea of where things are heading, and partly because Iโ€™d genuinely love your input on what youโ€™d like to see first.

The Next Release: Tudor Bundle

The first add-on Iโ€™m actively working on is the Tudor bundle.

This one fits naturally alongside the core set. Think of it as a way to take the existing buildings and give them a more distinctive Tudor feel โ€” exposed timber framing, upgraded walls, and extra architectural details that let you push things a little further without overwhelming the system.

The idea here is very much:
the core set gives you the foundations, and the Tudor bundle lets you dress it up.

This will likely be one of the smaller, more affordable add-ons โ€” something you can drop in for a few quid to instantly expand what you can build.

Other Sets on the Drawing Board

Beyond the Tudor bundle, hereโ€™s what Iโ€™m currently exploring.

Castle Set

A full castle set feels inevitable, but itโ€™s also a big one. Curtain walls, towers, battlements, and proper verticality. Because of the scale and complexity, this is likely something that comes a bit later, once the system has expanded a little more elsewhere.

Church & Graveyard

This set would focus on:

  • Church walls and doors
  • Steeple roofs and bell towers
  • Stained glass windows

Alongside that, a graveyard theme:

  • Tombstones
  • Mausoleums
  • Tall iron railings and boundary pieces

Itโ€™s a set that could work equally well for quiet villages, gothic horror, or something much darker.

Shops & Market Square

This one is all about making towns feel alive.

The focus here would be:

  • Shopfront-style walls
  • Interior pieces like counters and partitions
  • Modular market stalls built using the ClickyWalls system

The goal is to let you quickly throw together a bustling market square or town centre without needing dozens of bespoke parts. A clock tower would likely sit naturally within this theme as well.

Dungeons

A more traditional but very flexible set:

  • Rough stone block walls
  • Traps, chains, and manacles
  • Wooden, iron, grated, and secret doors

This would lean into classic dungeon-crawl gameplay while still keeping everything modular and reusable.

Mines (Dungeon Offshoot)

Branching off from the dungeon theme, a mine set would take things in a slightly different direction:

  • Carved rock walls rather than masonry
  • Floors with integrated minecart tracks
  • A more industrial, worked-stone feel

This would push the ClickyWalls system into a more environmental, story-driven space.

Temple / Monastery

This is related to the church idea, but with a very different atmosphere.

Think:

  • Remote mountain temples
  • Monasteries
  • Sacrificial altars
  • Cult or mystery-driven spaces

This set would be less about civilisation and more about isolation, ritual, and story.

Arena / Fighting Pits

This is one of the more technically interesting ideas.

An arena set would likely introduce non-90-degree walls, allowing for:

  • Hexagonal, octagonal, or other angled structures
  • Terraced seating
  • Large open fighting pits

Perfect for gladiatorial combat, monster arenas, or even dragon enclosures. These angled components could also unlock a lot of new building possibilities across other sets.

Docks & Ships

This one may end up as one bundle or two โ€” Iโ€™m still figuring that out.

  • Docks as the core set: piers, walkways, harbour structures
  • Ships as an add-on

Rather than small tabletop boats, the ClickyWalls scale makes it possible to build a large, multi-level galleon โ€” something that becomes a proper playable environment in its own right.

Farmyard

Finally, the farmyard set.

This is deceptively versatile:

  • Barns and farm buildings
  • Stables and silos
  • Multiple fence types

A lot of D&D happens in the countryside, and this set would support travel, ambushes, quiet roleplay moments, and everyday rural scenes just as much as combat.

Have Your Say

Thatโ€™s the current list โ€” not a fixed roadmap, but a snapshot of what Iโ€™m actively thinking about and working towards.

If thereโ€™s something here youโ€™re especially excited about, or if thereโ€™s a setting youโ€™d love to see built with the ClickyWalls system, Iโ€™d really like to hear from you.

You can:

  • Get in touch through the site
  • Or reach out wherever youโ€™ve found ClickyWalls

This system is very much being shaped as it grows, and community feedback will play a big part in deciding what gets built next.

More updates soon.
